At New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, we believe in one true and living God, the eternal Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of all that exists—seen and unseen. He is sovereign, holy, all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present. He exists in three divine persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit—each distinct yet one in essence (Matthew 28:19). God is love (1 John 4:8), and His nature is both righteous and relational. We worship Him not as a distant deity, but as our heavenly Father who is intimately involved in our lives, calling us into relationship with Him through His Son. His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and His grace is more than sufficient for every need.

We believe that every human being is created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27), uniquely crafted with purpose, value, and potential. However, because of sin, humanity has fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from God and distorts our identity. Yet even in our brokenness, God’s love remains constant, and His desire is to redeem, restore, and reconcile us back to Himself through Christ. At New Bethel, we honor the worth of every individual and strive to create a community where people from all walks of life are welcomed, embraced, and encouraged to become who God designed them to be.

Salvation is the free gift of God’s grace made available through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and rose again on the third day with all power (Romans 10:9-10, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Through His finished work, we are forgiven, justified, made new, and given eternal life. Salvation is not earned through good works but is received by surrendering your heart, confessing Christ as Lord, and believing in His resurrection. At New Bethel, we believe salvation is both a moment and a movement—a moment of transformation and a lifelong journey of becoming more like Christ.

The Holy Spirit is not a force, but a divine Person—God Himself—dwelling within every believer (John 14:26; Romans 8:11). The Spirit empowers us to live holy, equips us with spiritual gifts, comforts us in our weakness, and guides us into all truth. The Holy Spirit is our Helper, our Counselor, and our Power Source for victorious living (Acts 1:8).

The Church is the body of Christ, made up of believers across the globe, and expressed locally in churches like New Bethel. We believe the Church is God’s chosen instrument to reflect His glory, share His gospel, and serve His people (Ephesians 4:11-13). We are committed to being a church that is spirit-led, purpose-driven, and community-centered—a beacon of light in New Town and beyond.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). It is not just a historical book but a living guide—God’s voice to His people—relevant, trustworthy, and transformative for every area of life. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible reveals God's redemptive plan, His promises, His character, and His instructions for how we are to live. At New Bethel, we don’t just read the Word—we live by it, preach it, and teach it with boldness and clarity. We believe Scripture is the foundation for faith, the standard for truth, and the blueprint for a life of victory, purpose, and impact.
